The second day my dad was in Virginia, we went to the Norfolk Botanical Garden! I hadn’t been before so it was a new experience for me as well. I think it’s definitely one of my favorite places in Virginia so far and I already can’t wait to go back!
The Renaissance Court was probably my favorite area of the whole gardens but I also loved the rose garden. The court reminded me of Middleton Place and South Carolina plantations a lot, which I miss SO much! A couple peonies were also in bloom (my favorite!) The gardens reminded me of a combination of the south and Washington… great inspiration for our landscaping someday back home 😉
After the garden, I got to finally show my dad my new school! I already had a bunch of digital pictures of it so I only took some with a 35mm camera, but I should get those film scans back this week (getting film scans back is like Christmas morning, let me tell you!)
